Areas where you either fight a horde of enemies you're not ready for or a gauntlet of garbage where you have to use everything in ONE room. Then the operatic music everywhere, words i don't understand cos they're...what, russian? And to top it all off, I've got a stupid hand narrator yelling at me every 5 seconds and it's so frustrating.

My dating life has never, and will never, look this good.

As a simple player, this game feels overly complex. There is so much to learn, and combat feels irritating and frustrating to learn. You get a huge blade, which is so slow and you're slain before you know what's happening. There is no targeting system, only resetting the camera. Then when you do find the blades you want, whatever you're slaying keeps running around, and as there's no targetting and dodges don't happen mid-move? I'm slain before I know what to do.

It is not welcoming to beginners such as myself. If you want to play this game and are new to this?

DON'T!!!

Lagging, crashes, constant issues with the game, cutscenes aren't good, and I didn't even get to the 2nd act cos the game kept crashing every single time.

This game is very fun. The mechanics are easy to figure out once you know them, and they're introduced with a simple task ahead that involves that mechanic.

Not only that, there is story to this too. And I'm a sucker for good story!

NEW PLAYERS

This game will not too friendly for new people. At the lower levels it doesn't really matter, do whatever. But there copmes a stage where you are just expected to know how stuff works. If you don't mind a lot of grinding and asking the game's community for answers every 10 minutes or googling it? It'll be fine.

But it's grinding for money, grinding side quests, grinding levels for your weapons, all of that. That's why I do not recommend it if you are new.

Well, I am not sure if this is just me being terrible, but I feel I should inform those who want this game what they are in for.

So, as soon as I built a shelter of some kind, the tribal dudes show up at it. I'm not sure why, but there;s some massive guys that come and attack too, which when you have no idea what you're doing? Is not a fun time. I died a few times to them alone.

Also, when you die and you are taken to their camp? Sometimes there are tribal members at the camp, and when you break free? Chances are they will see or hear it, and charge at you to attack. And with no real stuns when your stun baton thing runs out? It's very difficult.

Also with no objectives, it's difficult to know what to do. For example, I reached one of the caves that apparently needs 3 items from all of the other caves, which I had to look up. If you like objectives and linear story? This game is not for you.

It's a walking sim. It looks good, but it's essentially jumpscares with slamming sounds, random people shooting at you, or whatever. It's not scary in the slightest, and I got confused several times about what is actually happening. So it's simply not a fun experience. No real story to grip onto, and it's not really a horror. Unless you could the game making you jump scary.

It's a good concept. But for someone like myself, it was very confusing. It was a lot of walking around and stumbling on things, and I did not finish the game for the reason that I spent 80% of my 68 minutes played wandering around looking for what it wanted. A lot of the time, there is no indication on what to do next, which grew tiring after a while.

If you are not patient enough to sit and wander around for hours, I do not recommend this game to you. Because as the kind of person I described, it was not a fun time.
