I am one of few TF2 players who is NONE of the following:
Cheater, Femboy, Gay, Racist, Sexist, Short-tempered, Trans.
Happy to help if you are new to a game I play.
I listen to nu-metal but cannot stand Limp Bizkit nor Korn. (Korn sounds like dirt [not in a good way] and limp bizkit sounds cheesier than hair metal)
I race cars competitively IRL.

I have a sort of drive within me to improve at tf2.

I see players who *used* to be better than me who I am better than and it makes me feel good. Not because I like being better, but because I like tangible proof I'm getting better.

I don't see players who are better than me as just players better than me. I see them as reference points for my own skill, as proof of my own improvement. People to immitate, learn from, and become better than. I have specific people to whom I look up to and want to be better than (on specific skills/classes):
tstm - Soldier aim
LITTLE - Soldier aim, and playstyle
Chi Teng - Headshot aim
NonnaAnon - Trolldier
Funges - Pyro consistency
Doctrine - Scout consistency, and aim
recon - learn opponents, huntsman aim
Ven - Medic consistency

I am closer to some of these people than others, but they are all definitely better than me on the listed.
However this hunger I have within me will continue until either; I die, personal life prevents me, or I am the best. So at some point I will be able to look back and think about how these players were better than me and know of my improvement. (Might be a couple years, Doctrine and LITTLE are both insane)

I don't mean this to sound like a wanker (though I'm sure it does) but this is where I am going. This is the way I feel about TF2.
