yea achievements are stupid. I'm not going to get a badge just for the sakes of it, when I had my fun, I had my fun, it's good to be able to move onto new things

I have not given a care for achievements until Silksong came out. This is because when I hop on Silksong, I'm always thinking that I should go back to Hollow Knight to do all the things I have missed before, like beating all the bosses on the hardest difficulty, but once I do get on Hollow Knight again, then I'm thinking why am I dedicating my time to die to the same old boss continually, when I could just hop on Silksong and enjoy all the new shiny content!?
I can reslove this paradox by just playing Hollow Knight, because Silksong is in my library, it won't go anywhere! Now the issue becomes just how far do I want to take my Hollow Knight playthrough? What depths must I reach to feel satisfied enough so that my mind won't tax me throughout Silksong? Because even if I get all the achievements, there's still more content that I haven't seen, like the fights with Grey Prince Zote. Guess I'll just keep going till I completely run out of things to do in the game...

I like Mario Kart Wii more than 8 Deluxe, cuz although 8 has way more content, Wii has got little to no invisible walls unnecessarily slowing you down when you could've made that small gap or ledge, but Mario Kart 8 just won't let you try. Also, I love the strong early 2000s aesthetic that Wii has going on.

Once MINDWAVE and Friday Night Funkin' release, it'll be elite with how fun and fresh and colourful and ost-wise it'll bang and the community integration with custom levels and the groundbreaking gimmicks and the distinct artsyles that are influnced from so many different places that it makes looking at it feel alive and-

Mario Wonder is the most fun and colourful platformer I have ever played, only with a slightly disappointing final boss, but much more crucial is that the music is forgettable. Otherwise, it's absolute bliss to play.

I also really like Mario Galaxy, with the only complaint being that there was this one section near the beginning where you enter a steel sphere, and the way the walls stretched around your view genuinely blew my mind, and I played it the first time this year! So umm, the complaint is that I wanted to see more of that for more than just one odd section of the game!
Once I get to play Devil Daggers 2, I think I'll really appreciate its unique mechanic thanks to Galaxy!
