Despite being consistently made fun of for playing ETS2 by my friend group, this is still a game I come back to often. There's just something about it. I love this company and this game, it's a realm of the past and it's crazy to see companies which still try and actually just make a good product. Despite some people complaining that "oh all the DLCs are worth over 100 USD" i got them all on sale for like 30 combined and I've gotten way more than that value out of my 412 hours playing this game.

What is there to say?

I've spent 20+ hours as a dispatcher, because I really enjoy the signalling aspect of it, and there's literally nothing to say except "wow, this FINALLY happened. TSW3 may have a very good competitor".Fair warning - especially if you're not Polish - you WILL have to do some basic reading to understand the regulations, signage, etc. However, I find it weird how people are complaining!Us polish people have always had to put up with sims that are based in the UK, USA, Germany etc and had to deal with a lack of internal documentation too! We've always had to look up guides, and you WILL have to here as well. That's tough, but the official forum has many incredible player-made guides. TSW, TS etc have one issue - replayability. Sure, you can do different scenarios, but after a while you'll get bored of a route - and buy another one (for money!). The multiplayer here is EVERYTHING I wanted, finally getting the ability to communicate with others and organise things - and wow has it been a joyous experience!Both on English and Polish servers, organising, calling and VC'ing with other dispatchers trying to organise peak times has been incredible. Being able to talk to drivers, help them organise - and from the reverse, being organised while also having to deal with driving is not something I've seen before. Having real people there allows for some really cool operations, like wrong-track driving, double platform departures and depot movements/schedule organisation.The fact that this game has over 300km of actually beautifully recreated track is incredible! Updates happen every 2-3 days with many bug fixes, new signalling zones among other things.

CONS

There are some bugs. There aren't many locomotives. The game was meant to come out in full but came out in early access. There are **quite a few** server issues when the server is filled almost/full.

It's been over a year. The game is still going strong however the pace of updates has severely slowed down. From weekly, to biweekly, to monthly, to bimonthly, to trimonthly to the latest updates taking upwards of 6 months to be created. Despite this, the game is still very competent and I still believe it's worth the money. The new DLC, although kinda mid for the price, is still some new content.

Game "released" out of early access. Very dissapointing update, however room for improvement. Take the negative reviews with a pinch of salt but also consider them.
