This is a RP group based on Homer's Iliad

The King of Mycenae, Menelaus, brother of King Agamemnon won the favor of the most beautiful woman in all of the world, Helen because he gave her the greatest gifts. Meanwhile, Aphrodite, goddess of love, promised the Prince of Troy named Paris that he would soon have the most beautiful woman in history as his wife. Paris went to Sparta to meet up with Menelaus and Helen. Menelaus held a feast in honor of his new guest. After the feast Menelaus set sail for the island of Crete and ordered that Helen furnish the guests with all they required until they departed. When Menelaus was away from Sparta, that very night, Aphrodite brought Helen and Paris together and after their union they put treasures and riches on the ship and sailed away to live happy together forever. When Menelaus heard of this his brother, Agamemnon accepted Menelaus request to lead an expedition against Troy (also called Ilium). Together they gathered the rulers of Hellas and reminded them of the sacred oath thay all swore to uphold. The Trojans doing the same and knowing a war was bound to happen prepared for it. Among the Achaeans was the mighty Achilles, while among the Trojans was the mighty Hector. These two warriors destined to duel would decide the fate of each side. Thus, the Trojan Wars began.
