Today, Emperor (// if someone knows the name of the Sassanid Emperor tell me in the comments!) Amir has decided that theborders of his glorious Empire must expand. He sees this as a way to possibly gain scholars from the nations he conquers but to be peaceful to those he invades. He does not wish to bring extreme rule over his people and those he conquers. This is to be a way for economic growth for the Sassanid Empire and to bring more people under their belt!

The Frankish tribes sweep the fields of Loraine, their cavalry smakes the ground shakes and their enemies shiver in fear. Their enemies, the foe tribe of the Ripuarians lay dead on the ground, with two great Victories and all the Ripuarian generals participating dead, King Clovis calls for peace. Having received a crushing blow the ripuarians are ready to sit on the table for negotiations.

King Charles Martel commonly now known as Charles “the weak” to his tribesmen due to the fact that he fought no battle and he surrendered to the enemy agreeing on the following terms put by King Chlodio:

~The Ripuarians will surrender all their territories eastern of the Rhine
~The Ripuarians will swear fealty to King Chlodio which will be know crowned as the King of the Franks in exchange Charles Martel will be named Chieftain of the Franks above the Rhine and protector of the river and all sweet water.
~The Ripuarians will pay a homage and assist their Salic brothers in their further expansions
(thus being a tributary)
