Recently valve announced that they would be adding a new safe way of trading, by using your phone to accept trades and making it harder for hackers who hijack your account not get your lovely skins and items sounds like a good idea?

We’ll in theory it work BUT if someone does not use a phone to accept trade there will be this new hold function to stop hacker getting your items instantly but then again the forgot to ask themselves this. What will happen to all the Betting and trading sites? , we’ll little jimmy those sites will not be able to function properly say if you were going to bet on Fnatic if they were playing against LDLC you would have to bet 3 DAYS IN ADVANCE (Which sites like CSGL and others have the match show 48-24 hours before it which would make it next to impossible to bet. And oh god trading…YOU WOULD HAVE TO FIND SOMEONE WHO COULD WAIT 3 DAYS TO GET THERE ITEMS AND NOT MANY TRADERS WORK LIKE THAT IT’S EITHER NOW OR NEVER. Most people who agree on this have a smart phone but a what if you dropped your phone and it broke everything inside it welp RIP trading for you and come on if a hacker wants you items he will be able to hack into your phone stealing your items and getting your credit card details (which if they want to they could use all day to get skins until there isn’t even 1 cent in your bank account.

If this get through the real victims will be the streamers, youtubers, Vault account owners and site owners of trading sites. Most streamer e.g. Anomaly, Nick bunyun and other get most there donations in skins so they can do giveaways and sign peoples. Vault owners put most there skins in other account once they have reached the 1000 item limit will have to wait 3 days to trade their items from that account to their main which also can make a hassle to streamers and Youtubers since most of their keys are in other accounts. Oh and site owner will have to shut down their site because they will not be able to use there bots at all we’ll I guess its bye bye to OPskins and CSGL even smaller once will be hit hard.

So how can we stop valve from doing this.

There are a few ways like petitions but valve never listens to them we could boycott them a more harsher way of doing it which will get their attention. But sadly if it gets pushed through trading will die and a lot of people will stop playing because trading is soo fun! Making profit is fun, it one of the only reasons a play this game if not I would still have a console and be playing COD please valve it’s not our fault for it you shouldn’t blame the innocent once in this, the fact of the matter is that people are so stupid to click a link that’s gets them hijacked it should be THEIR FAULT not ours please don’t put this trade hold in I don’t own a phone at all I only have a house phone like most people most traders aren’t rich we just want to make some profit at the end of the day.
