I'm getting way too old for this - 11 years of Red Sun

It honestly feels like I'm just trying to pull myself through life a lot of the time, and I've just... blinked and here we are, 11 years later. I'd have made this post at the time, but Steam was down and I was busy stressing out over other stuff, which is what I've been doing a lot over the past few months.

Recent events have not been kind in a lot of ways. I've been embroiled in nothing but personal issues, lawyers and other minutiae which has been naught but stressful to the point of accelerating my greying hair.

But at the same time. I'm still going. The people that have stuck about aren't here for a cult of personality or to promote their own personal brand, they're here because they enjoy the place. The big shakeup has pretty much seen to that, in that we now have a french duck helping run things. This has improved morale as we've made a killing on all the peas being sold to feed the small armada of waterfowl now milling about.

But here we are, still going. I'm here for the long run like I said long ago, and I'm not in it for money, fame or power. I'm here because I enjoy what I do deep down. That's all there is to it.

• Push Notifications - Get notifications on your computer for trade offers, badges and some other stuff that hasn't yet been revealed. I swear I'm not going to use this to ask you about your car's extended warranty.

We're working on more events and a few items for the near future, so keep an eye out. I don't know when it'll drop but we should have something when it's polished enough that it only breaks half of the website. Maybe someday we'll have a testing environment, but we all know real men test in the live environment.

As for myself, I've been through a tough few months. Lost a lot of people I thought were friends, but I've found the people who care the most through it all. Life's still hard but I'm still going, probably because I run on spite and there's enough of it coursing in my veins to overpower the industrial alcohol brewery in my blood. Or maybe I just enjoy what I do as a hobby. The world will never know.
