As you may already presume our server is running the highlander and tournament mode which means that there are 9 players per team (1 player per class) and 18 players in total. If you want to play as a class that is currently played by another player you may ask him/her if he/she is up for a class swap. To swap classes just switch into spectator mode with the other player so that the classes become accessable. Also our server is a public one. So all kind of players are welcome, no matter if they are veterans, newcomers, pay2play or free2play users. In addition there are no weapon restrictions.
If there are any questions on a game or weapon mechanics ans strategies feel free to ask. We are always glad to help new players to find their way into the game. We will also coach new players if they ask for it.
Important: If you notice any problems please inform us over the comments. Also suggestions are highly appreciated.


SERVER RULES:
1. No offensive, racistic or sexistic comments.
2. No spam and no micspam.
3. No cheating, hacking or griefing.
4. This is a german server. If german is not your native language just try english. Other languages are not desirable since they could cause confusion among other players.

Breaking one of these rules will get you banned or kicked.


INFORMATION CENTER:
-The MvM and BETA Server aren't running the highlander and tournament mode.
-Achievement/Idle and Fun/Party maps will be coming soon.
-On halloween and australien christmas there will be special holiday servers running.
-If we aren't ingame and there are some players interupting the game you can reach us by entering the group chat.


MAP CONFIGURATIONS:

Arena maps:
-10 minutes per map.
-10 rounds per map.
-Win limit of 6.

King of the Hill maps:
-20 minutes per map.
-3 rounds per map.
-Win limit of 2.

Capture the Files maps:
-15 minutes per map.
-3 intelligence caps.
-Win limit of 3 intelligence caps.

Control Point maps:
-20 / 25 minutes per map. (Att/Def) / (5CP)
-No round limits and no win limits.

Payload maps:
-20 / 25 minutes per map. (Pl) / (Plr)
-No round limits and no win limits.

Territorial Control maps:
-30 minutes per map.
-No round limits and no win limits.

Special Delivery maps:
-15 minutes per map.
-3 intelligence caps.
-Win limit of 3 intelligence caps.

Mann vs Machine maps:
-No time limit on all maps.
-No round and win limits.

"Eins, zwei, drei... Ugh, I do not think we brought enough body bags." The Public Highlanders Server Update Day 4: Substantial Saturday

Here we are, once again but this will be the last time for a while. So this is the 4th and final day in our Server Update! Todays update is a huge one in comparison to the others. And this is why we called it the Substantial Saturday, because this update features a lot of things. To sum it up, we are adding custom game modes to the server! These include the Versus Saxton Hale Mode, Team Fortress Dodge Ball, Zombie Fortress and TF2 Ware but we may implement more game modes sometime. For now, we planned to run those modes at the weekends, just like the achievement and idle maps.
The final cycle of maps will be announced in a few days, when we come to a conclusion.
Also, the list of maps of all custom game modes will be posted in a few days too.
One last note: We consider changing the server up times. We will announce the changes if we do.
So there's only one thing left before we finish this update: Have fun while playing on our server and enjoy the new additions! This update may be over but there are more updates to come!

"Freeeedooooom!" The Public Highlanders Server Update - Day 3: Freedom Friday

Another day, another update. Today we're featuring something not all players are gald about but it's part of TF2 either way. Some hate it, some love it and some don't even care about it... We are talking about Achievement/Idle Maps! The reason why we want to add some of these maps is simple: As we just mentioned, some people like them because it's hard for them to obtain certain achievements, for example. Also, most of them are plain fun! So we thought it wouldn't hurt to add such maps to relax and have some random fun. We planned to integrate them into our new cycle and run them on the weekends.

As always, we'd appreciate any map suggestions.

Also, sorry that we are can't provide you with more extras today. We tried to set up the replay system but it just won't work since our servers can't get access to any steam services. We have no idea why it's like that and we don't no how to fix this either, since it seems that it has nothing to do with our server...
