If you got an invite, post in the group comments if you still want to participate in the next season of steel highlander. Time commitment is at least one day a week most likely on monday evenings but matches can be scheduled to our convenience. If most members on the team are enthusiastic and get hooked on that highlander shenanagens (see: pub ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥) we can scrim as much as we like, but this is something that needs to be cool with most members or at least most starters and whatever subs want to participate.

If you know anyone with tf2 installed and a working keyboard ask them if they would be interested in subbing. they only need to know the names of all the classes and be capable of using mumble and installing custom maps. hands, eyes, ears, and toes are not requirements but are valued assets in subs.

Roster is super duper fluid and can be changed to suit everyone as far as how much fun they are having in their role.


Team Goals: (the way this is written might not make sense for the teams starting roster, but it is also there for subs to read who might not be familiar with the people on the team.)
I want to touch on the expectations/goals for this team because if we all come in expecting something different there could be problems. The reason behind the team is to enjoy the wacky fun (see again: ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥) of highlander with a bunch of people who might not have played games as a big group together in a while, so in other words: we-are-making-this-team-to-have-fun.

If you want to take your role in the team seriously and practice a lot go for it, but if other people don't share that enthusiasm and just want to show up every Monday to either attempt to crush nerds themselves or watch someone else do it that needs to be recognized and respected. Not saying advice in game is not allowed but I want to keep flaming or over-controlling to limit. There are no rules for this team that you need to follow to be on it, aside from one relating to the previous sentence: Scribbles and Phail are not allowed to say any words to each other at all in a match and directly after the match other than damage numbers and the phrase "I'M AT THE PIZZA HUT, I'M AT THE TACO BELL" which is also not allowed unless the allcaps are present either in text or vocally.

Just be kind to each other and be aware of the level of tryhard and game experience of a person before shouting strats and such at them. If you want help becoming a heavy-main/not-♥♥♥♥♥♥♥/decent-pub-player/pub-star/mge-peasant/mge-knight/mge-lord/spire-king/decent-6s-player/competent-6s-player/6s-carry then all you need to do is ask and there are lots of people with enough combined experience to help you get to where ever you want to be.
