Pyro is currently the most powerful class in Tf2 by FAR, it can destroy most classes, and with my trusty pocket medic, I have dominated entire teams.

Pyro has no attack interval
No clips (no need to reload)
Controlled crits (what can I even say?)
No after burn taken (Unless coverted in gas)
Area DPS (one of the few ways in the entire game)

Pyro hard counters :
Scout, Soldier, Demoman, Heavy, Medic and Spy

It (he or she idc) cancels out other pyroes
Harrases snipers (they might as well be dead)

That only leaves Engineer, but Engi only counter pyro on defence, since his sentry takes a long time to build

In conclusion, Pyro is very powerful, when defending with a pocket medic, there are literally no class in the game that could reliably kill him, and he can also detroy Engi nests with one simple Ubercharge.
