Making a stand for the future of Half-Life!

There's nothing wrong with making new games and bringing in new fans and players. But a line must be drawn at alienating the older fanbase who grew up playing Half-Life, Team Fortress, Left 4 Dead, and other Valve classics.

The recent announcement by former writer Marc Laidlaw and Valve's continued silence on the future of the series, as well as all attention being shifted to Dota 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and all its' microtransactions is where the line is, and Valve has stepped over it.

I have been a Valve fan for as long as I can remember, and I've defended them on multiple occasions, but their recent irresponsibility is something which I cannot stand for at all.

Join me in taking a stand for what you believe in. We are here to play games, not blow our money on skins and crates. If you join this group, you agree that you will no longer pay for keys, crates, skins, or any other microtransactions. From now on, it's games, and games [only/i].

You also agree by joining this group that you will not buy Valve's new card game, Artifact, when it comes out next year. Valve has to refocus their priorities, and it will take everyone who cares to do it. If this is you, then join the group. There are no requirements whatsoever, aside from those I just listed.
