Full Story Regarding Yurrie/Jifar's Ban: Lazypurple Staff

It's been a long time since I've seen a problematic player cause such a huge ruckus in a while...

Hello folks, this is Mexi from the Lazypurple Staff. After covering RDs_Army with the full story regarding Yurrie's permaban, he was gracious enough to allow me the chance to explain the full details to the rest of you guys.

I apologise it's taken so long to give an official stance on this; my wrist has been wrecked from week-long server work and I have been getting vocal evidence from the Staff.
I know a lot of you are very misinformed about this whole incident and have joined this group only to understand the full story, so please take a read.

Yurrie wanted me to email him regarding his ban appeal, but I shall post the entirety here since an email might open up chances for this player to twist the staff's words again. Without further ado, let's get to it.

Yep. If you were uninformed, Yurrie was actually the alias of Jifar, which was a huge problem player about a year back.

His first ban in October 2016 was for RDM. This is forgivable since he was hopefully learning the ropes, but this still led him to rejoin about 25 times during a 1 day ban.[gyazo.com]

His second ban was for RDMing in late November 2016 as "Pyrosharker - Trump 2K16 -", despite aggressive pyrosharking being banned in early 2015. Again, he tried to rejoin 14 times during a 1 day ban.[gyazo.com]


The big issues, however, started when he was known as "Jifar The Crash Test Dummy". He was notorious among the staff for being thirsty for attention, asking Moderators questions repeatedly just for a response, or trying to pull them into conversations they did not want.

While the problems were mostly staff-based, he also had counts of using metal/money to entice people into giving him attention.
This included writing fanfictions of servergoers and staff for metal, and then spamming the chat with it... even though most people were reluctant or uncomfortable about the idea.
The spam also includes made-up chat binds of staff (which Varsk experienced the most).

It even got to the point where he bought Donor for the sake of attention, despite both regulars and staff being tired of him. From Moderator Sparky:

When Votekick was working, he would also avoid votekicks by disconnecting. This happened several times in my memory, which was often when his bind spam or fanfic writing became unbearable for the servergoers.

Finally, this is my personal experience: He would talk down Staff behind their backs, and victimize himself when someone calls him out, in order to make Staff seem abusive. There was a time I spent quietly on the server, and Jifar began to beat down Lamiiku (Admin) with words.
I delibrately kept quiet to see if he'd stop, but he kept going. That's when I lashed out to him, telling him to treat the staff, MY staff, with respect. He would only stop being politically uncomfortable or incorrect when someone told him off. This was when I was still a Moderator.

Just to cover you guys about his current offenses:

• First 2 bans: RDM and Pyroshark
  
• Seeking attention to the point where he'd harass Staff
  
• Made up binds of Staff
  
• Votekick avoidance
  
• Writing Fanfictions without consent (and making people uncomfortable)
  
• Being paid/buying donor for the sake of attention
  
• Staff disrespect
  
• Victimizing self to save his own image

At this point, the rest of the staff were hesitant to ban him since he was a Donator. However, I made it a point to ban him if he did any inappropriate actions again.
It did happen again as predicted, and I gave him a 2 month ban (which, when considering the amount of things I listed, was relatively light). Note that he was also named Jifar the Smut Train[gyazo.com], which is more inappropriate content.

He disappeared for a while (and I got promoted!) until a person named Yurrie came by. Three bans, got warned by me to not spam his "Making SFM Posters" ad bind on the server once or twice. Thought it was an old problem player I haven't heard of.

All fine and dandy till I got a ping on the #help Discord regarding overspammers, and I remotely checked the server chat using my new Admin powers. Yurrie was going nuts with lewd hentai naughty-girl speak among other things, so I gagged him. Made a mental note to ban again if he didn't stop. He didn't stop. In addition to checking console regularly and seeing him do more occasional naughty talk, it came to my attention that he also sexually harassed moderator Sparky, who was openly holding a LGBT pride Consciencious Objector.
Yurrie approached him by saying something along the lines of "I want to shove that sign up your ass cutie". When asked to stop, Sparky noted he said something close to "Being uncomfortable makes it all the hotter! >//<"
(Waffy and Thanatos, both mods, can attest to this despite me not having picture evidence).

The sexual acts happened to me too-- I was on achievement_apg and he wanted to gain "powers" by giving me a blowjob, going as far as saying it in chat repeatedly, clinging to me using his hook (which I activated for everyone), and doing suggestive motions as a Heavy. Had I not told him to stop, he would have continued the harassment forever (good time to bring up that he would still start uncomfortable topics despite no one answering[cdn.discordapp.com]).

Quick summary of the Yurrie-side of events:

• Promoting self on chat using binds
  
• Inappropriate content through uncomfortable sexting chat
  
• Continuing said content even when no one asks for it
  
• Sexual approaches with Staff, including Admins

So, seeing how Yurrie was becoming a problematic player, the Staff started looking out for them. However, Sparky took the time one day to check the Steam IP of Yurrie due to his number of bans-- and bam, it was Jifar.

I was on a Discord VC with about 6-7 other Staff members at that point testing maps, and we all got the news. As you've seen the huge amount of problems Jifar/Yurrie had caused before, I took the vote of about half of my Staff group to decide if we should permaban Jifar/Yurrie for good. This wasn't an unfair singular vote by myself-- it was an unanimous decision of "Yes" by multiple staff, including old-time Admin Cannibal, who agreed that the permaban is completely and uttery justified.

And seeing I've shown you all what he's done before... I think it's enough to convince most of you.

...and obviously Jifar/Yurrie had to continue the fuss right after the ban by demanding me to read their ban appeal on Sourcebans through the server and on the Discord, while saying me and my staff were not doing their job.

This, despite all the present staff reading the appeal at that point, and always discussing whether to ban people behind the scenes on our Staff Discord.
This, despite all the victimizing and harassment we had to sit through.
This, despite me and the staff spending the entire past week bringing the two biggest updates the server's seen in 2 years, in addition to still bringing more updates despite my wrist getting bad.

We'll let you decide who's right.

Final offense count:

• Early on: RDM and Pyroshark
  
• Attention-seeking, to the point where he'd lie, make binds of staff, and harass players/staff
  
• Asking to be paid/buying donor for the sake of attention
  
• Writing Fanfictions and spamming chat, even without consent/when people were uncomfortable
  
• Avoiding votekick when called out
  
• Huge amounts of Staff disrespect, even after this announcement was made
  
• Victimizing self to save his own image
  
• Promoting self on chat using binds
  
• Inappropriate content (Smut/Trump/Lewd chat/starting and continuing drama)
  
• Similar behaviors even after reappearing as Yurrie (aka no lessons learnt)
  
• Sexual approaches with Staff, including Admins
  
• Post announcement: Harassing other players/friends to appeal his ban through brute force, even when all evidence is against him

(POST-UPDATE: I would like to also put into light that he was still attempting to shake off all this evidence as "lies" through sending messages to people who were told of his previous/current history, understood it, and were already content. This, along with saying he was not given a chance to defend himself. He already had a chance to state his "evidence"; check all the previous announcements. Finally, his general language in the group's comments have been less than friendly, to put lightly. We'll let the evidence here talk.)

I still would like to apolgize with keeping you guys in the dark, not withstanding Jifar/Yurrie's reluctance to accept their bunch of offenses. It took us staff several days to decide what to do, and it's been due to the graciousness of RDs_Army that I've managed to update you all of the full story. We, as staff, have done our duty.

As helpfully provided by the words of Yurrie, I hope you guys have all the "fxcking important" context necessary to understand the permaban, now that I've also updated you all about what happened prior ( a l s o i m p o r t a n t ), in addition to doing the job we are supposed to do.

Let this announcement sit here as testament with how some players can be extremely manipulative. And, if anyone happens to mention this issue again, please send them a link to this so that they aren't manipulated further. Yurrie has been trash talking me, staff and his friendslist behind the scenes for an unban without any support and evidence, so the harassment hasn't stopped. Save yourselves the trouble.
