Welcome to the Duke Nukem Forever Community Tournaments Group page!

WELCOME ALL DUKERS!

This group began as a gathering for players who'd initially wanted to participate in the tournament for Duke Forever's 10-year anniversary but popularity has shown that there is more to these events than just playing Duke on his release day.

We enjoy Duke Nukem Forever's multiplayer and our prior tournaments have proven that we MUST do more friendly competitions in the future! However, if you ever see another one announced, know that there will be fun, there will be blood and there will be many more things to come! I can not and will not promise anything, but one thing I'm boldly certain of, is that there WILL be more tournaments!

Hello everyone! Hope you're all doing well!

This announcement is to make clear that here in the DNF Community Tournaments group, we have ZERO tolerance towards arrogant, spiteful and/or disrespectful behavior towards members and staff of this community. This group has, and always will, stand for fun, fair and friendly competition.

While we do believe in second chances and handling things as fairly as humanly possible, we DO NOT stand for insufferable, ignorant, childish behavior. NO ONE should be subjected to cheating, doxxing, slandering, false-naming, or anything remotely of this nature towards our fellow Dukers, whether they're in this group or not.

Ergo, the council has made the executive decision, based on his current attitude and events, to disqualify and invalidate every placement of ▼Vanilla★Whale▼ in prior tournaments. Challonge has incorrectly portrayed the rightful winners due to reorganization after closing, so please refer to our group forums for accurate rankings.

Although the recap videos on YouTube still show his victories, this group will no longer recognize those achievements, as his current usage of cheats, name-stealing, harassment, and stalking have given the council rightful justification to remove him from our records.

This decision was made carefully and collectively. This wouldn't have been done if things hadn't gotten as bad as they are now. Let this also serve as a lesson. If you wish to spend every day and night destroying the DNF community, you'll just end up joining him in the rubbish pile.

Thank you to everyone else who continues to show sportsmanship and kindness towards everyone here. We're a small community, but a community nonetheless. Hail to you kings and queens!

New Moderators Needed! - Some Experience Required.

We're looking to fill a few moderation seats in the Duke Nukem Forever Community Tournaments group. We currently have 2 positions available.

This is completely volunteer-based and the qualifications are:
  • At least 1 whole year of being in this group.
  • High-level experience and competence with Duke Nukem Forever (2011)'s Multiplayer. (Tournament knowledge is a ++)
  • Clean track record in the tournaments, the group and Steam itself. (No DQs, no penalties on your account, etc.).
  • Calm, decisive and responsible demeanor in handling issues. (NO POWER-TRIPPERS)

What is expected from you in this position:
  • Must have fair, respectful and level-headed judgement processing.
  • Must be willing to deliberate when decisions need to be discussed regarding the group.
  • Must have a laid-back attitude towards moderation and a friendly demeanor towards staff and members.
  • English is required.
  • NO F***ING POWER-TRIPPERS!!

Sunday Fundays are usually hosted every sunday at 12pm est, sadly our host doesn't have access to a PC until march 2nd, you should join the chat in the group (there's a button at the top of the page to do that) We ping people there when there is a session going on :)

Sorry I don't have an auto script on the server. It's manual and when steam reboots their servers it goes off-line. Reason I do that is so the server does not restart mid-game by accident.
