A place to ask me anything not relevant to one of my workshop pages and organise item signings.

I like having a small friends list of fellow contributors and players that I know in person. At the same time I really appreciate all of your support and it's always nice to meet someone who enjoys my work. So I made this group to please both sides.

TF Arkham Knight Contest

Another contest and another massive thank you to anybody who voted for my items. The Teufort Knight and Buttler are now available in-game for you to enjoy. I'd also like to take the time to explain why they aren't for every class in case people were wondering.

In the case of the Teufort Knight, it was mainly due to tri limitations. I could have made it a head replacement for the Pyro instead of a hat, but I just didn't have enough wiggle room left to model the additional neck while still meeting the importer requirements. I tried it as a hat but it had to be deformed so much to cover the side part of the Pyro's mask that it just looked bad. I mainly intended the hat to be for Scout, Sniper and Spy, so please think of the additional options as a bonus rather than me just being mean to Pyro players.

Regarding the Buttler, I didn't make it for the Demoman because his front pouch would cover the belt details, so the only other option was for him to wear it backwards. The Sniper was also left out because his jacket hangs over his waist and would cause the model to clip through it. Again this wasn't me intentionally leaving out players but simply a design decision based on the character models.

TF Tomb Contest

Quite a few new members joined the group recently and I'm guessing that was because you liked my Tomb Raider submissions, so I think a massive thank you is in order to everyone here who voted for my stuff. You can look forward to the Bootenkhamuns and Orion's Belt being added to the game in the near future! Unfortunately for a lot of people, The Twin(s) didn't get added but I want to point out that only cosmetics submitted via the Item Import Tool were valid entries to start with. Fortunately for a lot of people, the Noobs didn't get added either, so you can thank whatever god(s) you believe in that you won't have to see those atrocities jiggling in your death cams any time soon.

Ah fantastic. It's hard to work out what's wrong when it somehow still shows properly regardless. It must have been referencing files in some long since forgotten location even though I specifically told it not to. On both computers. I'm not even going to try and work that one out.

Anyway thanks again and enjoy (at last)!
