This RP can either end up really awesome or really lame. I advise you to keep interest in this RP-- I will not give up if you don't. Open war or stable peace are both outcomes of this RP-- but in the end, there will be a King sitting on the Wooden Throne. All that matters is what House they are from.

The 8 Kingdoms of the Ardennes are at war again. The new High King, James of House Calmar has been elected without traditional vote. Balythium and the Serfdom openly muster their armies to prepare to seize the Throne by force.

To make matters worse, Calmir demands independance from the Serfdom, and open rebellion may come. House Dalus of Balythium also has ambitions to annex Argaania into its territory. Houses Calmar and Dylanus do not desire plunging their kingdoms into Civil War yet again, but they will not risk a Balythium King upon the Wooden Throne.

It is clear that war is coming. Will the Kingdoms side with their old alliances, or will they risk forging new ones? The choice is theirs.

Marriages/Duels/Funerals will take place on Mount & Blade: Napoleonic Wars. Heavy battles will take place on Medieval II: Total War.

UPDATE: the launching date of this RP will begin soon, I'm estimating in about two weeks. Character Submissions will be accepted for a short time after the launch, but I will eventually stop accepting them. We still require one member of House Fold (which rules the Isle of Calmar, which is a vassal of the Serfdom), which is necessary before we begin.
