Welcome to the Cheneymania.tf Steam Group! Cheneymania.tf is an offshoot of the semi-popular Castaway.tf, a group focused on returning TF2 to its casual roots seen in the days of old, BEFORE the dark times known as the "Meet Your Match" update. That means RANDOM CRITS, NO CLASS LIMITS, SPRAY IMAGES, ALL TALK, and WEAPON REVERTS! Friendly fire is planned for a later date, though there's some additional work on the plug-in side of things that needs to be done first.

Our "Hunting Club" also features a map voting system to help keep things a bit more varied. Long-forgotten favorites from the past make a return as well. Remember tc_hydro? We do. Remember Arena Mode? Valve sure as ♥♥♥♥ doesn't, but we certainly do. Even some old community favorites make a return!

Other miscellaneous features include "roll the dice", the Unreal/Quake announcer pack, and more that you'll just have to discover for yourself.

Please note that Cheneymania only exists in the sphere of this Steam Group, the Group Chat, and the server(s) listed below. That is to say an official discord, sub-reddit, or anything of that nature will never exist, as it leads to many problems that I'm sure you're already painfully aware of.



1. This is a Team Fortress 2 server, not Craigslist. Don't advertise your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ here.

2. Any attempt to maliciously disrupt server activity will be met with severe punishment including, but not limited to, gagging, muting, banning, berating, and much more depending on how egregious it is.

3. Player communications, while not strictly moderated, should still be kept legal. Use common sense. I don't care if you hurl every single slur in the book at each other, just don't post illegal ♥♥♥♥, and don't be a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ creep. Remember, the mute button is your friend.

4. Pornographic content of any form, including drawn content is 100 percent forbidden. We're here to play video games. Go jerk your gherkin somewhere else and ♥♥♥♥ off.

5. Sometimes we like to branch out and play other games (see Associated Games column) if enough players are interested. There are no consistent servers up for these titles, as it normally involves one of us just hosting a listen server for the session and calling it a day.

6. I am the one who pays the bills for this server. I do not plan on taking any form of donation. All of this is to say that while I am happy to listen to and consider your feedback, at the end of the day, my word is final.
