WCD April/May Announcement

Hi WCD,

To all the old WCD members and friends -we’re still here and going strong!

A lot of us are back gaming together regularly throughout the week and it would honestly be great to see some more familiar names back in Discord again.

We’re currently heavily active in:
Star Citizen every Sunday from 6PM
Division 2 every Wednesday from 6PM

Star Citizen is gearing up massively for Patch 4.8 and the new Tactical Raids built for org gameplay. We’ve been preparing the fleet, running capital ship ops, and getting organised for large-scale events.

Division 2 nights have also become a regular thing again with raids, Summit, Descent, Escalation and just good fun together.

We’ve also brought back monthly community games voted on by the Discord:

* Windrose this month on our own hosted server
* The Nested Lands next month

WCD has always been more than just one game. It’s always been about old friends jumping on, having a laugh, and building a proper community together.

If you’ve drifted away over the years, consider this your invite back.

WCD February/March Announcement

Hello WCD Members,

We wanted to share a quick update with everyone about what's happening in the WCD community.

First of all, it's been fantastic seeing activity pick up again. Many of our old WCD members have returned recently and the familiar names appearing in Discord again has really brought the old school WCD atmosphere back. If you've been away for a while, we'd absolutely love to see you jump back in and play with us.

As a community we now run a minimum of two organised events every week, with more appearing regularly.

Sunday Nights – Star Citizen Org Ops (IEMC)
Our Star Citizen organisation runs structured Org Operations covering all the latest content. These events use some of the best ships available in-game and include a mix of PvP and PvE gameplay. It's a great way to experience large scale gameplay with the organisation.

Star Citizen org members also receive free account-bound armour and weapons, helping new and returning players get started quickly.

With Patch 4.7 just around the corner, bringing dungeons and new content, it's the perfect time to jump in.

Wednesday Evenings – WCD Division 2 Night
On Wednesdays we squad up as WCD Clan in The Division 2, running:

Raids
Weekly missions
Group PvE content

There is also new extraction gameplay and a new raid on the horizon, so it's a great time to be active again.

WCD Tries – Community Game Event
We also run a WCD Tries event where the community votes in a poll for a military or survival game to try together the following month. The chosen game is played free for the community for that month, giving everyone a chance to try something new together.

Weekly Event Schedule
All events for the upcoming week are posted every Monday morning on Discord, so make sure to check in and see what's coming up.

You can also join in-game through our clan rooms and enjoy all the free perks that come with being part of WCD.

Most evenings during the week you'll find members active in Discord, so it's easy to jump in, find a squad and start playing.
