Pan Status: UNBANNED!!!

This is a problem that has plagued OPST servers for some time, not least of all the deathrun servers. Today I had an all too common experience. I was playing deathrun eagerly awaiting my turn to be hale. I got into the spawn location as hale and had my scattergun out. As the clock counted down I frantically mashed the 3 key to pull out my pan so I could have fun completing Hale's objective but my pan would not appear. The clock hits 0 and the players run out the gate and I type "Wait. Stop, something is wrong" but my words fell on empty ears. When the round was over I asked why I couldn't hit the buttons and a single man answered "must have had a pan" The disallowment of the pan violates the first rule of OPST servers "have fun" and should be abolished to further this rule.
