We aim to create and release a total remake of Gearbox's PS1 co-op expansion to Valve's seminal debut FPS game, Half-Life: Decay. Now open to the public since most of the important work is happening on Discord. No, you're not invited there. That's private. Now, if you wish to stay and monitor the experiment, so be it. Otherwise, you can go back to your little labs over by the train yard.

Update: project management, team merger & stuff

I was talking to someone about working on DS recently and they suggested to me that I haven't been taking a firm enough hand in the overseeing of the project. They also suggested I could improve this by using a project management software. I thought about this, and after some serious consideration I decided that a project management system would probably be beneficial to the productivity of the group as a whole. I'm still choosing a particular one but the ones I've looked at so far include Trello, TRAC and FreedCamp.
On another note, the team is going to be merging with another team working on the same project called Decay Source Team so expect a few new members popping up. Maybe on here, maybe in the ModDB group.

Anyway, let's get started.

The bean counters said it was a bad idea to port all 12 maps to Source using BspTwoMap. Did it anyway, need a base on which to rebuild the levels. Also halfway through a playable teaser based on the cut Freeman mission. Hope no-one objects if I use the Enhanced Survivor Gordon for this one? Well, I'm gonna do it anyway. It's hi-def, and it's pretty much the closest to a canonical Source Gordon Freeman model anyone's gonna get (after all, Survivor is - or rather, was - an officially-licensed arcade game).
