Recommending First-Person Puzzle Games

I've created this group for the main purpose of using the curator feature on Steam. I am by no means a professional when it comes to writing nor game reviews, the aim here was to put up reviews so that people who enjoy first-person puzzle games can find the best ones, avoid the worse, but more importantly just find them in the first place!

I always found the tag system on Steam awful and found it hard to actually find more games of this genre so I thought I may as well collate what I did manage to find so that other people don't have to do so much digging.

Page Has Been Re-arranged

Very important announcement, everyone stop what they are doing. I have re-arranged the curator page slightly. It's a very big deal.

Anyway, the curator page now features a new "The Best" list at the top, where, you guessed it, the games that I consider to be the best ones will be added. Hopefully as more reviews are added over time, this'll be a good place to go to get to the good stuff and filter out the tat.

The following sections are then:

Free Games: an easily accessible list to hoover up all the free ones
Specials: see what's on sale at the moment
Recent Reviews: self explanatory
Lists: find a more specified list of games

I feel like this is a decent new format, that is hopefully helpful, but if you have any ideas of anything for me to add to the page, feel free to let me know :)

Top Ten List Added

Looking over the curator page, and considering if there were any more helpful lists to add, I thought it would be fun to add My Top 10 List for this genre.
Is it "helpful"? Not really! But I figured it would at least show which of the games on the curator page can make an impact and stand out to a fan of the genre.

As more games are reviewed, the list will pick games out of a larger and larger pool of potentials.

I have always considered the Portal games to have been the first games in this genre, and in the years following its release a lot of first-person puzzle games were of a similar vein.
Nearly 20 years after the release of Portal 1, the genre is now so varied that at times my favourites are hard to compare to one another.

We have challenging games that focus on the puzzles, chill and aesthetic ones that focus on the atmosphere, we have logical games and mind bending games that encourage you to think outside of the box. Some demand co-operation and others set you deep into your own world.
Due to the vast variety, I won't likely number my top 10 literally from 1 to 10. It'll be roughly ordered, and include games from all types of first-person puzzle games.
