“Buff” – straight buff to weapon, done if I consider the weapon’s direction to be good, but its in-game function to be lacking.
“nerf” – opposite of buff. I consider the weapon’s direction to be fine, but feel it could use with toning down due to being too powerful in certain circumstances.
“Rework” – Complete redesign. I consider the weapon’s direction to be poor, confusing, needless, or unfun, and feel that it needs a completely new design to warrant use beyond abuse.
“Overhaul” – Notable changes that aren’t discernibly buffs or nerfs. I don’t think the weapon’s direction is bad, but I feel like it needs changes beyond simplistic number buffs or nerfs.
“band-aid” – Simple change, usually a buff. I don’t consider the weapon’s direction good, but I don’t have any specific ideas to improve it, so I give it some supplemental functions to try and make it less gimmick-y or less unfun.


Scout

Shortstop - Buff
+ 40% more accurate

Baby Face’s Blaster - Overhaul
- 20% base movespeed (from -10%)
+ Boost now only lost on jumps
+ 20% more accurate

Force-a-Nature – Overhaul
- No longer knocks back enemies or user
- 15% damage (from -10%)

Soda Popper - Rework
- No longer has boost mechanic (meter still appears but does not function)
+ 20% faster weapon switch speed

Back Scatter – Band-aid (rework)
+ 75% damage to buildings
- 33% magazine size

Flying Guillotine – Band-aid (nerf)
- No double jump when equipped

Mad Milk – Nerf
- 65% healing from packs or healers

Black Box – Buff
+ Guaranteed 10 health returned for any damage

Liberty Launcher – Rework (Semi-revert to V1)
- 25% clip size
+ 40% rocket speed
+ 10% rocket jump force
- 10% damage penalty

Cow Mangler – Band-aid (Cockswain items are incredibly hard to mess with)
+ 20% rocket splash damage
- 25% damage penalty

Concheror – Band-aid (nerf)
- No longer regens health passively

Battalion’s Backup – Band-aid (nerf)
- No longer gives +20 base health

Pyro

Base stats
+25 base health (200, from 175)

Backburner – Nerf
- Now only mini-crits from behind (can no longer be crit boosted either)

Degreaser – Band-aid (buff)
+ 30% airblast pushback force

Phlogistinator – Band-aid (Nerf)
- Activating Mmmph now only grants mini-crits (can no longer be crit boosted)

Powerjack – Band-aid (Nerf)
- Deploys and holsters 30% slower
- 2 health drained per second when active

Axtinguisher – Buff
+ Now has Sword attributes (slightly longer range, deploys slightly slower)
+ Now grants a speed boost on hit

Postal Pummeler – V1 Axtinguisher!
+ Crits burning players
+ Has Sword attributes
- 50% damage penalty on non-burning players

Demoman

Loch-n-Load – Band-aid
- Clip size now 2 grenades instead of 3 for consistency
+ 35% faster reload speed
Iron Bomber – Very slight nerf
- 5% slower reload speed

Ali Baba’s Wee Booties – Rework (partial v1 revert)
- No primary weapon
+ 8% faster movespeed
+ up to 3 health regenerated per second
+ 60% blast damage taken from explosive jumps
+ 200% increase in turning control when shield charging

Loose Cannon – Band-aid (semi-rework)
+ 10% damage bonus
- 50% magazine size (2 grenades)

Scottish Handshake – Unique stats!
+ On hit: Target bleeds for 4 seconds
- On miss: Hit yourself. Idiot.

Heavy

Huo-Long Heater – Rework! New stats!
+ Now launches flares
+ 225% damage bonus (~35 damage per flare)
+ Mini-crits enemies on fire (sets enemy Pyros on fire)
- 10% firerate penalty

Natascha – Band-aid (semi-rework, new stats)
~ Slightly modified slow function: Now slows for 2 seconds on hit and slow is based on respective movespeed. Scouts are no longer slowed in the air(?), and every class can be slowed except another Heavy.
+ 50% tighter bullet spread
- 50% firerate penalty

Brass Beast – Rework! New stats!
+ Now provides innate resistances:
+ 25% bullet and explosive resistance
+ 20% fire resistance
- 50% less accurate
- 5% damage penalty

Dalokohs Bar – Buff
+ Tasty: Heavy now eats 35% faster

Engineer

Base stats:
+25 health

Pomson – Semi-rework
- Projectile no longer drains cloak or ubercharge on hit
+ Projectile now penetrates enemies

Frontier Justice – Band-aid (semi-rework)
- Revenge crits now respect fall-off and ramp-up
- 20% damage penalty
- 33% magazine size (now 4 shots instead of 3)

Short Circuit – Band-aid (nerf)
- 50% damage penalty

Gunslinger – Slight rework
- No longer grants 25 health when equipped (due to base health change, Engineer now always has 150 health)
+ 25% faster dispenser build rate
+ 50% faster sentry and teleporter build rates

Southern Hospitality – Band-aid (slight rework, could be nerf or buff)
- On miss: Hit yourself. Idiot.
+ Now allows Engineer to jump very high if he melees himself in the air

Medic

All Syringe Guns are now hitscan!

Base Syringe Gun – Nerf
- 40% damage penalty (to compensate for hitscan bullets with 0 spread)

Blutsauger – Semi-rework
- 30% damage penalty (to compensate for hitscan)
- No longer regenerate health passively

Overdose – Semi-rework
- 50% damage penalty (to compensate for hitscan)
+ Now gain bonus movespeed on syringe hit as well as the bonus movespeed based on ubercharge

Vaccinator – Band-aid (hard nerfs)
- 40% slower heal rate penalty
- 80% longer holster and deploy rates

Sniper

Base Class change: +25 health (150, from 125)

All primaries (Barring Machina, AWPer Hand, and Huntsman) – Semi-Rework
- 15% damage penalty (42 on bodyshot/noscope, 126 on quickscope headshot)
+ 20% damage bonus on full charge (consistent 150 damage bodyshot, 450 fully-charged headshot)
~ Sound is currently bugged on non-machina rifles, so to compensate they have tracers (will be removed when fixed unless otherwise noted)

Hitman’s Heatmaker (Along with above changes) – Band-aid (Semi-rework)
+ Shots now pierce all resistances
- No longer has Focus function

Huntsman – Band-aid
- All crits are now mini-crits (Headshots are now only mini-crits)
+ 25% faster reload speed bonus

AWPer Hand – Now has unique stats! V1 Sniper rifle semi-revert with nerfs
+ 15% damage bonus (50 damage bodyshot, 150 quickscope headshot)
- 25 health penalty (125)
- Now has tracer rounds
- 50% slower firing rate

Spy

Base stat changes – Buffs
+ 25 Health (150)
+ All knives now have silent killer aspect (no death screams on backstab, no killfeed announcement)
+ 10% bonus damage on all revolvers

Diamondback[/n] - Rework

+ When active: Regen up to 2 health per second
+ When active: Regen 4 additional health per second for each active sapper
- 20% damage penalty


Enforcer – Semi-rework

+ 80% bonus damage to buildings
+ Damage still pierces resistances
- 50% slower firerate penalty (from 20%)
