The date is July, 17, 1936. General Francisco Franco and other generals throughout Spain have revolted from the increasingly Leftist Spanish Republic. While Franco is gaining support from foreign powers like Nazi Germany, The Kingdom of Italy and the Portuguese Republic, the Spanish Republican Government under the control of President Manuel Azaña has been granted aid from the Soviet Union and Mexico. Both the Nationalists and Republicans have been getting a good amount of aid from Foreign Volunteers that flock to their ranks. and his Fascist Germany is growing stronger each day. The Poles, french, British and Americans have flocked to the Republicans ranks while O'Duffys Irishmen, Catholics, German, Italians and Portuguese have joined as volunteers in Francos Ranks. Can the Nationalists win the Civil War or will the Republicans reverse the fate they suffered in 1939?
