K-k-k-k-k-kombo breaker

It's been a long season, it's been a tough season. For Smashing, we have reached the end of our chapter here in the UGC Highlander league, season 8. Granted, our team is, and has not been one formed and trained under the most desireable of circumstances, but I must say, we've done well, and thank you for the opportunity to allow me to play alongside all of you for this competition.

We got off to a rocky start, with just about everything that could go wrong going wrong, but as the weeks passed on, I could see a steady improvement for amongst all of you. Still, it was and is not enough to carry us on to the playoffs, which is a bittersweet feeling for me.

It's been an honour to serve alongside all of you, whether or not you managed to play for us; we've shared our moments togther, experiences that can only be forged under such circumstances. I'd like to thank everyone for their effort and dedication to the team, clearing schedules and rushing home and all that whatnot to try to make it back for matches. I only wish we could've done more togther and that I had done more to try and keep the team up, I believe that this team carries a lot of potential.

Still, I'd like to call this the end of a chapter for me and move on as well, probably out of the compeititve scene for a while, take a break and get some air. It's been a stressful period for me, co-managing the team while having my promotional exams as a JC1 student.

Again, thank you. All of you, for sticking together right to the end. Many thanks to Sakii, Nova, Neo, Kate, Aries for just being there, you guys are some of the best I've played with in a team. I wouldn't say I'm leaving Smashing just yet, but rather, just retiring for now. Should Kate ever bring us back onto a competition, I'd be more than happy to help manage the team and make arrangements for matches, and sub as a medic every now and then. Otherwise, this is probably the last you guys might be seeing me in competitive for a long while.
