Official Steam group for the Sacred Scouts Tournament!

The Sacred Scouts 6v6 Tournament is a three week long tournament beginning the week of September 2nd. Teams will each have one match to play in a given week, and they may freely select a match time and date within the week to play. If no date can be agreed on, the default match time is Saturday at 7:30 PM EST. Each team will play three Swiss-style matches total to determine their final placement by foremost match wins, and then round wins and losses to break ties. It is important to know that this tournament will have no whitelist.

Each team will consist of only Scouts; a total of three subs may be rostered, for a total of nine roster slots. A max of two ringers can be used in any given match. This tournament will be played on NA servers, all provided and configured by staff. Anyone from any region will be able to participate, however we will not accommodate for latency. There will be four divisions, based on total in-game hours on Scout and third-party competitive experience.

Little League, the lowest division, will consist of players with up to 150 hours on Scout and little to no third-party competitive experience.

Minor League will be composed of players with between 150 and 500 hours on Scout and multiple seasons of experience in UGC or a similar league.

Major League will consist of players with over 500 hours on Scout or established experience in high-ESEA-O or above.

The highest division, All-Star, will not be open to everyone, and teams in it will be selected by admins if determined fit. It will consist of players who have played well in ESEA-IM or Invite, or have extensive experience at a comparable level.

Team division will be determined on a mean value of these hours. Don't try resetting your stats to get placed in a lower division, we will know.(edited)

Are there medals? Yes. They are not yet complete, but there is concept art thanks to Muhai that can be found in #medals on the Discord server. The reward tiers are fairly self-explanatory. If a team drops, all rostered players will still be rewarded a participation medal as long as they played 1 of their matches. Ringers who play at least one match will receive one as well. The placement medals will be rewarded to all rostered players on the team that earns them.
