ABOUT PowerPlay for TF2

A new way to experience Team Fortress 2.

About
PowerPlay is a TF2 companion app that runs alongside the game, tracking live gameplay through TF2's console log and Rcon commands sent to your client.

Thanks to Valve's rich console output, PowerPlay builds an evolving story of your TF2 experience: who you meet, where you play, what happens in chat, and how each session unfolds.

Highlighted Features
Track every unique player encountered, including times seen, aliases, avatars, kills, notes, ratings, ban info where available, and customizable/actionable tags called Attributes. Watched players can also have messages and activity logged more closely.

Badges highlight groups such as Valve employees, TF2 Community Contributors, Saxxy winners, major server staff, competitive staff, supporters, members of this Steam group and more.

Catalog unique servers and maps, including maps seen on servers, servers seen on maps, nicknames, session history, best classes/weapons, and other local stats.

Server and party chat can be tracked with customizable Triggers that notify you, mark players, or run actions when conditions are met. Get alerts when someone says your name, or auto-mark players when suspicious patterns appear.

Miss old Quickplay? PowerPlay has a local Quickplay module built to support community servers by indexing servers you find and referencing curated external lists, making browsing and joining faster.

In-game party commands prefixed with `$$` let you control PowerPlay without tabbing out. Try out `$$help`, `$$list`, `$$info`, or `$$mark <player> <attribute>`.

PowerPlay also has an internal console, command registry, and tf2-cfg-style scripting engine with `alias`, `wait <ms>`, bundled .cfg files, and launch-time `auto.cfg`.

Automation includes timed chat, message lists, anti-AFK movement, team warnings, chat games, and a Chat Game Builder. Built-in games include !rtd, !unbox, and !bounty, while custom games can use randomization, tokens, invites, and echo cancellation.

Visualizations include session calendars, K/D timelines, weapon/class trends, map/server stats, performance metrics, and more.

Developers can use the local read-only API for OBS, Twitch, Discord, competitive logs, research tools, and more.

Will this get me VAC banned?
Nope.

PowerPlay reads TF2's console.log and sends optional commands through local RCON. It does not touch the game itself in any way.

However, chat spam, AFK tools, or automation abuse may still get you kicked/banned from community servers at their discretion.
