Welcome to the Pokémon Pirates!

Hello members! This steam group is dedicated to providing a healthy mix between One Piece and Pokemn Competitive Battling. We encourage users to start discussions about any topic relating to One Piece and the Pokemon Metagame. Please be mindful that other users are here, so be respectful and follow the rules. Please feel free to ask questions to admins and mods, but do NOT create threads to ask simple questions, such as "Where can I watch One Piece online?" or "What do OU, RU, NU, etc, stand for?" You are allowed to have threads about "My Little Pony," "Garry's Mod," and other fun stuff as well. Altough keep in mind that this is mainly focused around Pokemon and One Piece; only post other topics in thier appropriate discussions. Have fun, and stay classy!

Well, lets just get this out of the way....


Rule #1
No spam is tolerated in the group, period. Any spamming will result in an instant kick, and a ban on the second violation. Bothering members above member status is also counted as spam. We all know what spam is; just don't do it.

Rule #2
Please be respectful of others. Do not post hurtful comments or threads about other members or staff. Don't bash others in your post, etc. Basically, just don't be annoying.

Rule #3
Post comments only where they are appropriate. Do not post comments about things unrelated to the original post. Simple.

Rule #4
Please do not argue against decisions that the mods/admins/officers, etc. make. What they say is final.

Rule #5
Keep swearing to a moderate level. If swearing is used in excess, we reserve the right for a mod or admin to temporarily mute you. If the offense occurs again, consequences will follow.

Rule #6
Remember that this is a public group. Do not post explicit content of any kind. This includes, porn, abusive imagery, innapropriate music, etc.

Interested in playing against one another?

Considering that this group is about discusing pokemon.
What better way to learn about stratagies then to compete against each other?

There are two ways we can do this:
1. You can go to Pokemon Showdown and create an acount. construct your team and then post your username in the coments. Pokemon Showdown is for the hardcore metagamers or starting players and allows you to build your team whatever way you want without having to catch, train, and level up your Pokemon.

2. If you prefer to do things old-school; post your Friend Code in the battling section of the forum from any of your Pokemon games. Any generation of battling is allowed; However, please confirm the generation with your opponent. This simply makes life easier for everyone. Battling from a DS is an option is for those who want to battle with the pokemon that they have LEGITIMATELY TRAINED. We will not allow you to battle with your shiny perfect IV Arceus that you used PokeGen to obtain. any Pokemon that you caught and trained in the game will be excepted.

To create the fairest matchups, our tiering and banlist system is identical to the Smogon Community. Please consult http://www.smogon.com/ for information if you are unfarmiliar with this concept.

Feel like we have a sufficant enough of pokemon content so far ^_^ On the other hand there isn't any One piece stuff yet and Sweet Celestia I'm not doing that;
looks like it's up to you guys to work that out 9_6
