A "Brony" is a Male who:

* Works in the pony animation industry, or
* Regularly engages in the practice of watching My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic™, playing Pony Fighting Simulator games, or other pony-related activities (colloquially referred to as "Bronietivities"). This can be from the most casual interest to the most serious professional Bronydom, where Bronies often draw extra attention due to their rarity.

According to a study conducted by the Entertainment Software Association in 2011, Bronies now comprise 43% of all gamers(and audience for My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic™) . Despite this large and growing number, many gaming and animating companies as well as many gamers fail to accept and acknowledge bronies as gamers, consumers, employees, or human beings in the gaming/animation industry.
