Scream Fortress XVII has been released!

Finally its here! The annual Scream Fortress is here.

One of my picks was right, Devilcross (Doublecross Event) was added into casual map pool. Since Valve keep maps from previous events, I've changed the version to one that is shipped with game files. So no download needed. As for the 2 other maps, they will stay in the rotation and on FastDL for now. Theres also one good news, contracts on community maps are deatched from each other. Meaning you can do them in any order you want.

3rd Full Moon and its new content

Hi everyone,

as mentioned in previous announcement, there were some changes done which I want to talk about them. First, 3 new maps were added. These are:


Second, I'm thinking about maybe converting the server into "general event server" so for example: In winter its everything Smissmas related, Full Moon stays same, etc.. But for now I think leaving it as it is and letting it grow is better approach.

*ding ding ding* Next Full Moon in one week, I added some Halloween maps from workshop to the pool which will be announced soon. Maybe we will attract even more people this time.

However when someone asks to add bots and the map do support them, then I have no issue with that. I might make a plugin to vote for Bots but need to think more about it. Im open but the nature of negelcted nav meshes and some gamemodes not supporting bots well make me leave it that way.

I told you in the chat so heres the explanation for others or new players, im not having bots on the server since not every map supports them well. I could make the nav mesh myself but its very time consuming and for example the tow_dynamo wont be supported since bots dont understand vscript gamemodes
