This group has really no purpose. Like the style in which I create my videos, every second of it is improvised, unscripted and unplanned. To be honest at this stage, with the lack of content due to my job requirements as a project manager, I feel the channel is already dead…..BUT….I have a video I’m currently working on, and as a result of creating this group, I’ve already facilitated talks with several members in fast tracking the completion of the video in the following ways:

• Plot layout
• Custom Voice Acting

As everyone knows, the videos I make have no structure, no plot, and zero complexity. The way I make my videos is the following:

• Sandbox for hours
• Get an rare idea (a dumb one at that)
• Record/Capture
• Sony Vegas

The issue with this is that there’s a lot of time wasted sandboxing and I have significantly lost over time the discipline and creativity to make videos. Yes I could have milked my “success” and churned out 30 second videos every week or month and take in the cash, but I’d rather make something I’d be happy with rather than put out half assed content. Arguably my content for the most part is half assed, but who the hell cares. I make videos when I have the time and when I have fun doing it as a result of successive sandboxing.

The gmod machinima/video creating genre is coming to a slow end with the advent of lets plays dominating the garry’s mod topic. I am thoroughly proud to have been a part of this intimate community, albeit in a cancerous way, but nonetheless I enjoyed creating absurd content for this niche community. I don’t know if this video will be my last, but I will like for this next video to be slightly plot driven (to speed up the video creating process) and of course there will be plenty of random material that comes straight from my uninhibited brain. Again I have already spoken to people in this group that will give me a boost in the plot structure while still retaining my own unique way of creating randomness. Let’s see how this turns out. I love the World Wide Web.

To be honest:
This group was really created to interact with my subscribers if they want help with creating gmod content or play Planetside 2 or other games. Again I know how difficult the current climate of YouTube is for content creators, but my hope is that I leave behind a community that still has interest in gmod videos.
