DayZ: Survival Team

Hey everyone: me and the guys are currently only playing whitelisted DayZ servers, as there more secure; we found quite a good whitelist with several different server available. Including: DayZ Chernarus, Taviana, Panthera, DayZ+, DayZ 2017, Takistan Life and a few more additions.

If you don’t know what a “whitelist” is; it’s essentially the exact opposite of a blacklist, rather than being forcibly opted out. You voluntarily summit a security key, which battle eye provides; which then give you automatic access to their list of servers. Meaning playing on a whitelisted server; is much safer hacker wise and CD safety wise than playing on a public server, where you’re more vulnerable.

To sign up you’ll need a few things: the following two links, an email address and your GUID.

To start you’ll need to click this link: http://board.germandayz.de/register/ to register an account; fill in the relevant fields and sign up. You will not need to confirm your email address to log in. (The site is in German; so if you’re not a native speaker, as I am not use google chome, firefox or some other web browsers with a translation function to change it into the correct language for you.)

Once registered click the following link: http://board.germandayz.de/profile/?area=forumprofile which is your forum profile. You’ll then need to enter your GUID at the very bottom of the page and click change profile to finish.
To obtain your GUID (Your Battle-eye whitelist key basically) you need to join any Arma II or DayZ multiplayer server enter group chat, then using forward-slash “/” type: “#beclient guid”

If you then hit “/” once more then press “Page Up” the chat will stay visible for you to read; no one will be able to see your key nor does it matter if they do; as it is not the same as your CD key but instead a sort of place holder for security reasons. You can then either write down your GUID or by typing it by hand into the chat box; hold “left shift” + “left or right arrow” keys to highlight what you've typed then press “Ctrl” + “C” to copy to the clipboard; which you can then use to save writing it out again and simply paste it into the required field.

After this is complete and you’ve saved profile; providing you correctly filled the fields and GUID, you should have access to all the servers they have listed on their website within 15minutes. Alternatively to find their servers you can use DayZ commanders “Search Tab” function to find the servers by using the website address: Germandayz.de
