Lukasz, can you tell me why when I mod a script, I can't make any changes to it and the changes don't get saved?

A lot of players (including me and my friends) really enjoy the game, but we feel that real-time multiplayer would take it to a whole new level. I created this post to gather community support and feedback around this idea.

Could someone make a mod so that when you change a country's name and color in-game, it stays saved?

I do not know much about how these things work. Or even if this reached the developer, it would make me very happy and, without having the slightest idea about programming, I think it would be a very small and simple change
