To all of the members of the 62nd, 93rd, 8e


Hey guys, over the past six months we've had great times with line battles, trainings, glorious victories, fun league games, and good chats in TeamSpeak. We've also had our down moments from people leaving, bad line battles, tons of drama, and mis-communication. In the 62nd we grew from just small numbers, and became a 100 man regiment at one time. We usually got 35, and close to 40 at some line battles, but switching from that to the 93rd lowered those numbers and decreased the fun that we had at the same time. We struggled at first, and lost a lot of our core base of members/officers... Although, we came back strong and were getting close to 35 again. Then school, sports, and IRL things came up with a good 20 of our members and they had to leave. Once we lost those members we kept going and came out strong again. With the good amount of recruits (at least 25) we were able to keep going and get to our full skill and potential once more... But we all know recruits and people get bored of the game and go inactive, so that recently happened with the 93rd and that's what forced us to make the 8e. At first, France was awesome and it made people excited about the new faction and unit type we get to play as. Trainings/LB's were getting more flexible and it seemed like a good choice to make. I guess I was wrong... It seemed to kill activity even more, and we can only field 15-17 now. Even though it is fun, it's just a bother to think about not being the powerful and great regiment we once were. In the short 2-3 weeks we've been the 8e, drama has already came up and it doesn't seem right to keep going. I for one do not have the time to put in the regiment to get it back to the active 60 we had in the 62nd... And I know no one else can do that except me. With that being said, I will be resigning from the regiment and will not continue to lead it anymore. I know, I know... What can I possibly be busy with? I'm a " no lifer ", right? I'm the guy that takes this too seriously and just sits on the computer all day long. Wrong. I've gotten bored of this game, and the community has gone down hill dramatically, and it seems like I should go with it. I don't have the mindset, time, or ability anymore to lead it.. nor do I want to. It was a good run, and I learned a few things leading the regiment for the past eight months. So with that in the books, I will take my leave and give my spot to whoever wants it. I hope one of you will take the regiment and lead it for another 8 months and turn it into a success like it once was. Whoever takes the spot DON'T give up hope early on. It has its bumpy roads with all the drama and stress it brings with it... Just keep going and it will pay off eventually. It takes patience, and a lot of it ( And yes Keppler, I have patience). Anyways, I will still be on steam and visit TS whenever I'm able to. It's been a great eight months, and I will miss it. Good luck, guys. :-)
