Welcome to the 65thFLB Deluge Commander Battle Campaign!

This is a Deluge Commander Battle Campaign hosted by the 65thFLB. The Campaign is based on the Second northern war where you will be able to play as the following nations:

Swedish Kingdom

Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth

Russian Tsardom

Lore:

1655. Three Empires at the height of their power, now all look towards one place: The Baltic. With their armies mobilizing; brave officers rush forwards, no orders but a desire for the glory for their nations. The Swedish army under general Boomy attacks the Polish army near Riga, in what seemed like a one sided slaughter for the polish. However Boomy intending to smash through the polish ranks impetuously charged across the frozen river, his tired, disorganized troops cut down by the elite polish hussars, although they put up a valiant last stand. As the polish army licked its wounds. Next, the Russian army advancing through Reval was attacked by a swedish garrison sallying out to hopefully take out decisive victory and seize the initiative...yet the Russian army, instead of line tactics or complicated battleplans simply surged forwards, catching the Swedish host by surprise, overrunning it in minutes.
2 months later: the Poles, intending to displace the Russian army from the area, sponsored an Ottoman raid on the Ukraine. The Tzar Van Kleef, quickly raised a second army and raced through the vast steeps to meet the invading troops, led by the Polish Heir, Marcus. On the battle of the two bridges however the Russian army once again smashed the Ottoman-Polish Coalition, its commander executed in a brave last stand against the Cossack cavalry. In the meantime, the Polish King ordered an attack on all fronts against the Swedish Kingdom
This victory convinced the Tzar, already emboldened with his previous victories, that supremacy was certain against his Polish and Swedish rivals. In a letter addressed to the Polish king, Van Kleef presented a formal declaration of war along with a crate containing Marcus's severed head surrounded by broken hussar feathers. A similar letter had already being sent to the Swedes. And as such, in March 1655 Eastern Europe descended into chaos, with only the Russian bear, the Swedish Lion or the Polish Eagle being expected to come out as winners, with the prize being total domination of the Baltic and as such, global influence.
