What are 2014 SAS items?
These are cosmetics that have an extra line of blue text stating "Rewarded for Participating in the 2014 Summer Adventure."

How do I obtain these items?
You can obtain these items by unboxing a Summer Adventure Pack. Unboxing a pack will reward you with a Backpack Expander, a Name / Description Tag, a random weapon, and a random cosmetic with the tag.

What cosmetics drop from these packs?
Any cosmetic you can obtain from the drop system can drop from these packs.

I was invited to this group. Why?
Most likely, a member of this group spotted your trade on a trade website or found your profile and saw you had a large number of these cosmetics. Feel free to post and trade for the ones you want! You probably have a cosmetic someone else wants.

Why collect these items?
Everybody's got to collect something.

I've heard that a 2014 Noh Mercy sold for over a bud. Is that true?
Yes, it's true. However, there were several factors contributing to this insane outlier of a sale. The buyer insinuated from the trade that it was worth well over a bud, plus the owner had paid a lot to obtain it from the original unboxer. It was also claimed to be 1 of 1 in the world at the time, however a few more 2014 Noh Mercys exist as of now. Source.[www.tf2outpost.com]
There is no record of any other SAS item for selling anywhere near that amount.

Cosmetic Drop System Confirmed.

Between myself and my newfound friend Jack Aubrey here, we've confirmed that the cosmetics you can obtain from the Summer Adventure Packs are in fact, cosmetics from the drop system.

If you cannot obtain the cosmetic you are searching for from the natural TF2 drop system, it does not exist with Summer text.

Remember to update your trades.
