In 1800 the Experimental Corp of Riflemen was formed, eventually becoming the 95th (Rifle) Regiment of Foot in 1803.

Riflemen were different, in many ways, to the soldiers that made up the bulk of the British Army. Instead of the classic 'redcoat' with white crossbelts worn by most infantrymen, the Rifles wore a distinctive 'greenjacket' and black leatherwork. This was the first attempt at camouflage by the British Army and was a reflection of the very different role expected of this brand new soldier.

Moving to a new game Age of Napoleon

Good Evening All,

We have now decided that we will be moving onto a new Napoleonic Wars called Age of Napoleon created by FSE who made Mount and blade NW.

We have recreated a unit the 95th Rifles from Holdast and NW. We are a large community of players with a focus on communication and cooperative.

We have now decided that we will be moving onto a new American Civil War game called Battle Cry of Freedom created by FSE who made Mount and blade NW.

We have recreated a unit called the Union Army (UA) from our North and South days we are looking for players to join the unit. We are a large community of players with a focus on communication and cooperative.
