Hi, I'm a virgin with no friends and gray pubes. I wanted to point out that Zomboid takes place in 1993. The year 1993 canonically occurs before the year 1997. The year 1997 contains the release of The Phantom Menace. What you have done violates and offends me somehow. I will now whine about it in this forum.

Um in 1993 we only had 6 Star Wars movies. Episides IV, V and VI, and the Star Wars Holiday Special and the 2 Ewok movies. So..... Sorry kiddos, no General Grievous for you if you want to stay lore accurate to the timeline of Zomboid.

The mod should start with 4, 5, 6. The game takes place in 1993, BUT episode 1 came out in 1999.

For reference, the current in-game run times for each Episode are approximately
~ 9 hours for Ep I
~ 11 for Ep II
~ 24 for Ep III

At the moment I want to make sure that I am listening to everyone's request regarding this mod, so depending on how others prefer this mod be handled, (all lines, majority only, etc.) I will tailor the Originals appropriately.

@Jiopaba The current runtimes for each movie are: 9 in-game hours for Ep I, 11 for Ep II, and 24 for Ep III. @majesty Thanks for letting me know, my original intent was to have the VHS’s watchable from beginning to end, which is why I chose to remove certain dialogue. Many lines include action descriptors such as [lightsaber ignites] which add to the line total. If others agree they would also prefer the tapes to have all lines (since Ep III is already 24 hour run-time), I can definitely work on updating the lines.

@Ahsoka, could you please just go ahead and make each movie have all of the lines of dialogue please? You're already at 90% dialogue. Why not just go all the way? If you look at other vhs mods, they all have completed dialogue from the whole movie: Die Hard, Dawn of the Dead, Home Alone, etc.

I'm curious, what's the actual in-game runtime on these? Could my survivor and I watch a whole one without starving to death, since you can't pause a VHS?

Hi @Ralph Pootawn I haven't tested it on multiplayer, but I don't see why it wouldn't work. It should spawn in as a loot drop for any VHS tapes in the world.

Does this work with multiplayer dedicated servers?

As far as the lines per VHS, I included about 90% of the lines from each movie, only so the tape would not run too long and could ideally be completed start to finish. I have kept the main scenes and important dialogue for each movie --- woooaaaawww

Great, but please add a B42 Tag, so that everyone knows better that this works on that version [and not just from the Description].
Also, Why it doesn't have all of the lines from movies? Because of some limits?
