for some reason the dances dont work- chcked with mods, its not conflicted addons.

Is there a reason why the dances show up in the view animation menu in the context menu and not when I try to add them in my roster? There was no addons conflicting so idk.

No, I'm working on other personal projects. If there is a small bug, or if a new version of ActMod breaks this, I will fix it but otherwise that's about it.

is there any chance for proper support for models which use f_anm getting added? any animations from this pack stretch the shoulders out as if they were using m_anm. and yes, it also happens to the default playermodels.

for anyone getting "This dance/taunt is missing for you!" i did some tedious troubleshooting and it looks like there were multiple addons that i needed to have enabled. I'm pretty sure they weren't attached with the necessary addons list (or maybe it's because i already had them installed but disabled) but here's the mods that made it work:

U.P.M Theres a pretty common issue, if its your server, try changing the base. Dont use all at once (Xdreanimations - Dynabase - WiltOS base), if it isnt your server, try matching the base that is ON the server!

Probably means either 1. It didn't install correctly. or 2. It doesn't work with the playermodel you are using. If it's neither of those then i'm not really sure myself.

Sorry to trouble the boss. I have discovered the reason: a long time ago, the dance mod needed to be placed in the "xdreanimsbasegmod main" folder in the local Steam file in order to fully utilize the abilities of the dance mod. After attempting to remove the ancient 'xdreanimsbasegmod main' folder, no more prompts appeared, and over 120 new dances were used normally:al1kasumi:
Various PM models used in Outfit. When using any old dance other than over 120 new ones, it can run normally

Is this mod going to be compatible with the female skeleton in the future? I mean it works but it stretches the pm to male proportions.

Are you using a custom player model or does it happen with any?
I order this:ActMod/[ActMod] More Emotes/Base Anim-AM4/[ActMod] Ultimate Animation Pack/[wOS] DynaBase - Dynamic Animation Manager/[wOS] DynaBase Legacy Extensions。
with Very few other modules ,almost impossible to conflict with。
But still standing upright on the server while performing the latest 120+dances

and regardless on how a PM's made, it will look kinda goofy as you've said and it's not much of a big deal to begin with unless the anims look off with another skeleton type as i mentioned

i think the reason why the anims break on certain skeletons (aka PMs that use female skeletons) is because these anims were made in mind for PMs that use male skeletons, which would move the clavicles outward and slightly stretch the proportions of the PM whenever it uses anims that the skeleton wasn't designed for

i could say the anims on this pack don't have female skeleton support since they only work for PMs that use male skeletons in mind, which often leads to the problem above if you use a female PM to begin with. it's more egregious if you use the default female PMs in GMod, not just the ones around the workshop.
it definitely needs female skeleton support now that i think about it

The thing about the low-poly Homestuck models is that it's meant to do that. Even on offical Half-Life 2 animations the arms slightly disconnect, even then when testing some animations with the playermodels they seem fine anyways tbh.

When it comes down to any playermodel with bones that look odd on certain animations, there isn't a real way to fix that without making multiple animations just for each type of playermodel.

Personally for me, utaunt is a lot more simple and streamlined. Makes it a nice lightweight alternative.

This pack is just a port of the mod mentioned in the description (and also may become a "reupload" of sorts of old removed ActMod animations) Basically meaning there isn't going to be dances made just for this mod. You'd have to ask someone else to animate it and add it
to their own mod themselves.
