So... M Vonel was right in regard to all he said. However, the "tech_positronic_implants" is the tech for Hive Minds. for Machine Intelligence it is called "Positronic Processors" (according to the stellaris techncology ID list I could find, its id is "tech_sapient_ai" (not to be confused with sapient ai combat computers)). I discovered this because it is not allowing me to do it as a gestalt machine.

Okay so i think i found a "bug" You cant use this mod as a synthetic
I believe from testing around It's because one of the required techs is Positronic AI however gestalt consciousness empires get a different version which is "tech_positronic_implants" same tech picture basically same effects but the tech name is different.

played against the contingency gotta say solid 10/10. though I was playing the "play as gray" mod so my empire was a tad bit broken but it made me think it'd be fantastic for crisis empires to have a story focus typa thing course it'd be wonky to have the Contingency to have that with how their lore goes it sorta wild to think how their lore would go.
Still I gotta say this was a solid amazing seeing it work
ngl tho what would your thoughts be on expanding the Contingency to be more of a "play as contingency" type of mod I'd recommend looking into the "play as gray" mod to get what I specifically mean tho
