Make your way through The Abyss, Eternal Darkness and find Arthera, the Fallen Goddess, to stop the impending calamity known as the Abyssal Insurrection! Fight fauna, flora, monsters of all kinds, and even precursors as you move to engage Arthera in a Holy duel!

Arthera, the Fallen Goddess , is the ruler of Galamidas , the once-grand Precursor homeworld that was turned into the Abyss for their attempt at colonizing hell. They were the ones who started the mess; and thus, they shalt be damned to their own hell of suffering - thus began the First Galamidan Mass Extinction Era. Arthera, amidst the chaos, raided the Galamidan Nexus and took power over the Abyss.

The Holy Council (Yes, we're using ULTRAKILL's lore to build off of) deemed you fit to find and fight Arthera, to stop the incoming Abyssal Revolution - a theoretical revolution that would be realized if Arthera is allowed to gather up the resources.

The contaminated, "zombified" wildlife of the Abyss - once passive and thriving, now hostile and agonized. Only one entity remains passive; the Gagola - a deer-like thing that mostly wanders around.
The once-rulers of Galamidas, now dethroned and tortured. Seeking revenge, they've sought to constructing their own weapons and such - basic revolvers, wooden rifles, and otherwise. Their weapons are formidable, but you'll learn to quell them easily.
Thriving during the chaos, one man that goes by the name of Koa'ani Kruzmeinschenacht, decided to start up a defense matrix that he calls the Contingency Codex, with 3 main machines - Alpharia, Gammacus, Deltarra. He then uploaded himself into a machine named the Omega Codex, a Hyperia-class synthoid designed for overwhelming firepower. Then, the flagship Dreadnought, comparable to the Earthmovers in the Violence layer, using a 15-meter particle beam with enough power to cleanse entire cities - but instead used as a way to try to fire directly into either Hell or Heaven - but never could, instead is used to guard the City and Compound. However, one of the Dreadnoughts have went rogue, which will prove as a problem...
The Angels, the rulers and inhabitants of Heaven, send you to do their dirty work and find Arthera, your top priority. Their only request is to not try to sin with her, but we all know you'll try anyways.
