A remake of the classic Vacant Industry!

Attention: Organization Notice

All International Research Organization (IRO) personnel:

Recent glacial activity in the Antarctic has resulted in the largest ice shelf split observed in recent history, revealing an unidentified structure previously hidden beneath the ice. Strangely, its many smokestacks began to produce smog shortly after it was unearthed.
All attempts to make radio contact with the facility have been unsuccessful. No country has claimed responsibility as of yet, so its true origin remains unknown.

Following an international agreement, a specialized team will be sent into the structure to research its contents. To those part of said team: remain cautious and observant at all times.

VACANT INDUSTRY REVAMPED

This is a complete rework of the iconic Vacant Industry by Grey the Raptor, featuring immersive graphics, new areas, and many new secrets to uncover. This map is in no way intended to be "better" than the original, which is an absolute masterpiece through and through. This was made as a show of appreciation for what Grey created, and to see the map redone in a different aesthetic. I sincerely hope you all enjoy!

Features:

▹Updated textures and models to look more modern

▹Added more detail to every area, improving immersion

▹Added high-quality precipitation, including fog, smoke, and optional custom snow particles

▹Improved soundscapes with immersive environment sounds and realistic effects

▹Added several new areas with many things to explore and uncover, as well as new connections between areas

▹Added a new event when first entering the facility

▹Added much more detail to the 3D skybox

▹Added cinematic color correction to enhance the arctic tone

▹Added more buttons to the admin room controlling events and FPS

▹Added a voice to P.R.I.S.M.S.

▹Optimized as much as possible

▹Fixed many bugs

▹Much, much more!

Credits:

Once again, massive credit to Grey the Raptor for the original masterpiece (and many thanks for giving me permission to edit it). Many custom assets were used in this remake as well, like the skybox mountains, northern lights, and snow particles. Additional credit to Stub@ for the reflective floor materials and Black Mesa for several assets.

Notes:

If you lose an item by dropping it, check the yellow plate in the incinerator room.
Higher-quality snowfall (as seen in the screenshots) can be enabled in the admin room, though it may lower FPS.
Pickup stick allows the crate (next to the c4) to reliably hold objects, allowing you to easily carry important items around.
Due to the map's size, noclipping through the void often results in heavy lag and console errors. To combat this, it is recommended to avoid looking at the entire map while noclipping.
