Food poisoned meals no longer taint whole stacks

This changes the mechanism that handles food poisoned meals and how they stack. Normally, if one food poisoned meal gets put onto a stack of 9, each of the 10 total meals will have a 10% chance of causing food poisoning. I felt that was silly, and reworked it so that the number of poisoned meals in a stack is tracked, and when meals are picked up, there is a proper chance of picking up the tainted one(s).

This will make food poisoning cases feel more consistent with your cook’s skill and kitchen’s cleanliness.

Same. Vanilla Expanded Framework is the only mod I have in common with that list.

One not on that list that updated for me is "TD Enhancement Pack" about 4 days ago.

I believe the only mod in common with that list is "Vanilla Expanded Framework".

Which makes me believe it has to do with a vanilla change in 1.5.

For me, this bug escalated in 2 situations. When I had a caravan so multiple 100s PSM were in one place. And, when I added an extended storage mod with cellars having up to 175 stacks.

But as I'm loaded with mods my logs aren't as helpful.

But I suppose this bug can be forced by stacking loads of meals into a Stone cellar of the Adaptive Primitive Storage mod.

Well not this mod. It's last update was Jun 22. But my bet is that some other mod updated and screwed up this mod by messing with something this mod effects.

I've been having the same issues since yesterday. suddenly ALL my colonists are getting food poisoning constantly for no reason. My sterile kitchen and cook with over 16+ skill is not at fault here. I can understand ONE meal getting through on accident if the game rolled a "Fumble" for my cook or something, but not a sudden onslaught of food poisoning for over 2 quadrums now.

Nope and no mod change either.
I've so far done 2 things. Deactivated this mod, then used dev mode to delete all food in the settlement and replace it with the same number of dev mode created simple meals. That stopped the spread of food poisoning obviously (deleting bad food will do that either way). The food poisoning spiral stopped after that.

Next I'm going to reactivate this mod to see if the issue returns or not.

Did you do something today out of the ordinary, like run a caravan with a large stack of meals or sth else? Also check which mods have been updated since your last session.

Yep. Gonna add to the pile. Just had this flip today. Before now nothing. Then suddenly every simple meal my colonists eat gives them food poisoning. My only cook is skill 20. I
Honestly. I'm not sure if it's this mod, but my guess is that some other mod updated and is now screwing up this one.
I'll try to run without this mod for a bit, use console commands to purify everything, and see what's happening. Will update.
