Almost 1 to 1 remake of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare NVGs. They are affected by light and can be broken.

Hold N to equip/unequip | Tap N to flip/flop (unless this doesn't work because of nasty scripting, then just use the console commands)

To change the color, click the oversized icons in Q menu options or bind +vrnvgcolormenu to a key then hold it down while the NVGs are down.
Console Commands: vrnvgflip, vrnvgequip, +vrnvgcolormenu, vrnvg_

probably not a commonly requested thing, but can you add an option to not render the nvgs in firstperson?
like still being able to activate the effect but without the animations or anything
