Beautiful game and very fun management system, only problem is that the game development is slow as fudge, i hope that there will be additional developers on this project someday.

Just to calrify regarding the slow progress, this review was may long before the Russian invasion. Ergo, I'm not an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ :)

To much shooting, too much ammo, too much guns, too much inventory, puzzles?... Meh!
I almost feel like Capcom is grooming kids to play this series, almost obsessed with renewing their fanbase, albeit in small steppes, trying to turn RE in to another COD, BF etc. in order to make their fanbase younger.

Summary:
If you liked RE2 (maybe RE3) remake and RE7 and all the golden oldies (clearly not RE5 RE6, and maybe not celebrating RE4 that much) then i would say you will be dissapointed. If you are someone who haven't played the old tank controlled games and don't understand why there's so little ammo in RE2 remake, then go for it, you'll love it, but i'll hate you :P

EDIT 2 years later:
I bought it in order to get up to speed in regards to the upcoming RE9
The game is good but it's not what i would call a "resident evil game", so my verdict above still stands.

Next up is *gulp* RE4 remake, and from the (Full action no suspense) trailer... i would suspect a little more of the" good game but not beeing resident evil"-talk

I've played this game a lot, mostly 4v4 allies, but i have to say that if you are a beginner, this game is not for you.
Maybe its a little better in the 1v1 or 2v2 segment but 3v3 and 4v4 lack a spectrum of skill-level. I've played it for a couple of years, sometimes quite intensive but the opponents are too skilled or the matchmaking doesn't work with such a small community. This makes the matchmaking teedious and add some crashes and instability without a rejoin function makes it REALLY frustrating.

Aside from that it's the game i wish i loved and could play...

TL/DR: If you want to play 3v3 or 4v4 as a beginner don't buy this game, the community is too small and the skill is way above you.

Nice twist of Post apoc survival. Perma-death and base construction is very good setup.
Some bugs and quite linear sometimes, AI could be a little more intelligent.

All in all a fun game and a game thet can be replayed sice theere are alot of different characters.
Looking forward to Undead labs next game!
