This game somehow manages to make me want to fall asleep every time I boot it up.
I am not even kidding, me and the boys will start getting supplies for the ship and we will start getting sleepy.
We call this the Sea of Thieves effect.
10/10 Would fix my sleep schedule again!

Great and fun game. Ranked is kinda bad because its a third party simulator and everyone runs meta.

It might actually be a skill issue.

I love this game so much and can't recommend it enough. I don't think videos or even trailers can describe the feeling you get when you hit the enemies on beat. It just feels so good clicking on rhythm and it is so rewarding. Its a game that wants you to have fun and it succeeds. It doesn't take it self seriously and neither should you.
While relatively short and about 12 hours of gameplay for the main story, after you beat it you unlock more gamemodes that you can play around, test yours skills and the limits of the game. If you want to 100% it and go for every achievement it will take you about 60 or more hours.
While I think that some of the achievements are a bit tedious and maybe repetitive such as requiring you to replay the main story multiple times in all of the difficulties, I still had fun since the gameplay and the tracks that play are so good (Streamer mode tracks are also really good).
I really believe that anyone can have fun playing this game and enjoy it as much as me. Even for the more hardcore and casual gamers the accessibility and difficulty settings are there if you want to mess around with them.
Don't think about it, buy it.

Started as a great project with lots of hype and dedication from the developers, now just by a small glance on the most recent dev stream you can tell that the ones left working on the game wished they left it years ago just like its playerbase. After playing for a couple of years I came to the conclusion that this game is only worth it for the campaign and the arcade mode. Multiplayer is done for and one could easily think otherwise with the most recent update adding crossplay to the game but with it came a lot of new and enhanced old problems.
1. The servers have always been quite bad in this game but with the most recent update its almost a coin flip if you end up with a problem or not. From repeating errors to false bans, with ridiculous timers, to having to restart your game because you had it open for more than 30 minutes so you can just invite your friends in your party.
2. The gameplay at its core is unique and there is nothing else like it on the market, but with balance changes over the years the devs have only made it worse and repetitive. Is your hero considered weak and has issues with its base kit? Don't worry Ubisoft has you covered, instead of reworking and improving their main kit they will make your heavy attack 50 milliseconds faster and your side heavy now has hyper armor! Not satisfied? We added dodge attacks to your hero because why not.
3. The budget is almost non existent. One thing that I respect about the game is how good it looks, sound and runs. Have you ever wondered why the animations look so smooth and realistic? Why the executions look so clean? Because they were motion captured! It is amusing to me how that technology works and yet again they throw it all away by copy and pasting the goofiest emotes and executions you've ever seen on every hero available. From using a musical organ to slit ones throat to becoming Thor himself and calling down lightning to execute your opponent. I swear I can't remember the last time I got executed by an enemy and they used their actual weapon to kill me. I am not one who sees this game as something that should be ultra realistic but to compare how seriously the devs took the game when it first launched and how they look at it now calling them lazy would be an understatement.
Some honorable mentions:
- Using discord overlay while playing will not let the player do anything except use his mouse unless they restart.
- Shutting down the game will almost never work. You'll have to do it manually by terminating it via the task manager.
- Uplay launcher is a failure on its own but that's a topic for another day. Something that I'll mention thought is that around 30 minutes after shutting down the game a random pop up will appear from the Uplay launcher saying that you've been logged out / disconnected for inactivity or that there was a cloud save error.
All of the problems listed above have been a thing for god knows for how long and they will never fix them.
This review has been negative on purpose, its because I don't want people to give more money to this project. Its a waste of time and a pity for the ones who really thought this game could be something more. Save your money and buy any other medieval like fighting game. For honor is not worth the money, time and most importantly your sanity.

Bought it for 2.50€ on sale, ended up having quite a lot of fun with my friend group and were able to find matches in reasonable times but that probably is because of the sale since we were usually matching up with low level players like us.
Game has a lot of potential to become bigger but the Developers keeps on missing out because of the lack of advertisement which is really a dump decision since the game is having its biggest sale right now.
