Kraptonite is the ore form of a digestive element from the Superfly mythos. It is famous for being the ultimate physical weakness of Superfly. Originating in the Superfly radio show series, the material is usually shown as having been created from the digested remains of Superfly's native poophole Krapton and generally has detrimental effects on Superfly and other Kraptonians. The name "Kraptonite" covers a variety of forms of the substance, but usually refers to the most common soft & brown form.
