I've been in this series since Destiny 1 and it's sad to say where Bungie is taking it, along with how greedy they've been with the DLCs and battlepasses, at least before the game was actually worth something.
Don't fall for the "absolutely free" part, it's not, you're cut out of at least 80% of the content if you don't pay 40 dollars for each DLC and another 10 for each battlepass, the game also features fun things like missing out content if you don't play every week, sometimes even if you don't play for part of the week, and that content will *never* come back, sorry if you have a life!
My hours on Steam don't account for my other platforms I've played this and Destiny 1 on, so take it as you will.

Don't play if you don't have friends, don't play if you don't have money, don't play if you resent not being there for the time sensitive content.
