Tactical Breach Wizards is a ton of fun, combining the strategic depth of tactical squad games like XCOM with a quirky, wizardly twist. The writing is sharp and full of humor, and the game slowly immerses you in its world without overwhelming you.

One standout feature is the cosmetic unlocks, which are tied to optional challenges that crank up the difficulty. These challenges make the experience feel more like solving intricate puzzles rather than simply outmaneuvering enemies.

While you can power through the missions and ignore the dialogue, I highly recommend taking a moment to "stop and sniff the mana dust". The character interactions and world-building are well worth your time.

The closer I get to the end of the main story, the sadder I am that there isn’t already a sequel waiting for me.

This is a great purchase with a good price too.
