First, I want to say I do recommend this game when the cloud saves become a thing. Right now, if you reinstall the game after changing computers or fixing a known glitch then all your saved data is lost. Due to the age of the game, the saved progression is saved to your local files. Meaning your progression is not saved to your Steam account but to your files on your hard drive. Changing hard drives? Need to reinstall the game due to a bug freezing the game? Then wish all of your data goodbye.

Second, I will say this is by far the best version of roller coaster tycoon. There is no other version with the basic formula, the others usually add some off putting scenery or new features. If there was cloud saving tied to the Steam account, this would be recommended, but I do not want to see people go through what happened with me. Where you spend hundreds of hours in the game only to have to restart from the beginning. For people who enjoy cleaning their drives once in awhile or updating their hardware, beware of these files. You can save them and transfer to the new hard drive or a freshly reset hard drive, but you have to know about this bug before you save it.

It's fun but linear. Not many places to adventure around.

The updated game is a hollow self of the original game. Terrible progression. Something changed.

I have a close group of friends I've played games with for many years. One friend has even moved to eastern Europe for over a year. He has shown me pictures and stories from Eastern Europe that show incredible similarities with the layout and structure of DayZ cities. The game is in a work in progress, a long progress. Waiting for a new rendering engine and obviously optimizing issues need to be addressed. I personally belive they're currently develping a new ARMA III engine that will also be implemented in DayZ. That means all of the items and cities are placemarkers for when they transfer to this new engine.

No other game gives me this sense of danger and risk - 10/10

Wolfeinstein + Tomb Raider = the best 50¢ I've ever spent
