Even having only played a few hours of the game, I'm already entranced into the stunningly beautiful world of Lemuria. The character design and narrative are both fantastically executed and I have nothing but praise for the poetry entwined within the story. Though a turn-based RPG at heart, Child of Light's peculiar combat system, phenomenal art style and magnificently composed soundtrack causes this particular game to stand out from the rest. Definitely worth the purchase.

Wow. The epitome of how a point-and-click adventure based game should be. That is the only way I can describe my experience in the wonderful world of Broken Age. In view of the game's beautiful art style, amazing soundtrack, subtle puzzles and a tale that will surprise you to no end, this is definitely a worthy purchase. Though the game itself is quite short in length (took me 4 hours to complete, but you can go even faster if you're good at solving puzzles), another act is currently in development that will completely justify this game's price point. Do yourself a favor and purchase this game if you enjoy casual point-and-clicks!

The Binding of Isaac is a curious game. It holds a dark story filled with metaphorical and literal links to the bible that is presented on a weirdly unique graphic setting. Playwise, perhaps the most defining aspect of the game is the sheer amount of item combinations you can achieve. This, in conjunction with a fitting artstyle, deranged story and difficult gameplay, provides fun (and frustruation) to no end.

A most peculiar game. At heart, Don't Starve feels like Terraria and Survival Minecraft mixed together. However, in view of the game's fantastically done artstyle, wonderfully atmospherical score and whimsical gameplay- Don't Starve manages to stand out as a rare gem of the sandbox survival genre.

You are put in to the world of Don't Starve with no futher instructions on how to actually play the game. Because of this, your first few attempts at the game will likely end horribly as the world of Don't Starve constantly surprises you with new threats and materials. In addition to this, Don't Starve sports extremely diverse and unpredictable terrain and monsters, causing the game to have a steep learning curve that is eventually immensely rewarding.

Despite having been released for over a year, Klei has been constantly releasing new material for the game. This definitely justifies the purchase of such an amazing game.

Created by the developers of Diablo II, Torchlight II sports a unique 'cartoon'-esque artstyle in comparison to competitors such as Path of Exile and Diablo III. Though all three have their own merits, Torchlight II stands out from the rest due to its immense modding capability (almost on par with Bethesda titles). In view of the game's replayability value due to its modding capability and vast array of item combinations, this is definitely worth the purchase if you're a fan of the Diablo series and would like something unique for a change.

The Walking Dead sports perhaps the most enticing storyline I have ever played. Though the game is only a point-and-click adventure title, the fantastically done voice acting, art and beautifully executed storyline more than makes up for the dull gameplay. 9/10, definitely recommend if you're in for a story,

Does Team Fortress 2 really need any further introductions? This game is timeless. Simply the best F2P shooter out there, you will not find a more well executed game with a community the size of TF2. Play it.

My favorite sandbox yet. Terraria has a definitive lull to it that simply draws me back into its amazing world every few months. I've had this game for over 3 years now and yet still return to it every once in a while. Better yet, though patches are quite distant for one another, the developer is very much still improving the game.

Terraria leaves you with no instructions as to how to survive or play very much like Don't Starve, but with a much more 'friendly' game progression that is still very much challenging to beginners.

Perhaps the strongest point of Terraria is its amazing capability to combine the building elements of Minecraft with a strong sense of game progression and combat. This leaves Terraria to be one of my favorite games of all time. Worth the purchase? Definitely. (Especially since it goes on sale so often.)
